Ancient military and control post of the Inca Empire. Tambomachay, an archaeological site associated with water worship. Return to the city of Cusco
Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Very early in the morning, a 45-minute tourist bus ride takes you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The tour begins with a visit to Chinchero, an archaeological site, followed by Maras Moray, the Maras Salt Mines, and Ollantaytambo. This tour is perfect for souvenir shopping. In the afternoon, you’ll travel by train to Aguas Calientes. Overnight in Machu Picchu Pueblo.
Day 03: Machupicchu
Visit this World Wonder with a private guide at your own pace. Explore the urban and agricultural areas, important temples, and return to Cusco by train in the afternoon.
